Rhizome's Thoughts: Penang Trip (Day 1)

We arrived at sunway at 7.45 and waited until 8 something for grace and her father to pick us up. Then we arrived at the airport at around 9.15. As usual we didn't know exactly where to go so we just sorta followed the signs. While grace was fixing her bag, huey-ee, yong ming and wee kiat walked ahead of us. They went straight in to somewhere without scanning their bags and in the end kena sent out by an officer there to scan their bags. After we managed to check in and everything , we waited a while before going in; firstly because it was too early and secondly cause wee kiat needed to do some big business. So they started camwhoring again just to pass the time.

We board the plane and arrived in penang on time. After that, my father came and pick us up and then we went to eat the famous lobak. They all seriously like orang kampung just coming to the city for the first time(but its the opposite this time). Everything they see on the way there also "oooo"ing and "aaaa"ing all the way to the kopitiam. At the kopitiam le, every food that is served must have a picture taken before being eaten(every food ordered for the entire trip also like that). Its like saying grace with a camera.

After eating, we went back to my house, still "oooo"ing and "aaaa"ing all the way even after we arrived. Yong Ming, Grace and Huey-ee changed their clothes and we set off to gurney plaza. On the way, my father asked them if they wanted to eat laksa. Obviously the answer would be 'YES!'.

After eating, we went to gurney plaza. Since it as quite the same as one utama, they decided might as well go take pictures outside. But as soon as we went outside, it rained. So we went back in. Huey-ee and Yong Ming decided to have a bbq session the next day on the beach so we went to cold storage to buy the supplies. Sausages, the skewers and charcoal. Unfortunately no marshmallows. After that, they finally were able to go out and take pictures. In 1 hours time, i think they took almost 100 pictures at the same place. Then Huey-ee went to buy kite and Grace bought a bubble blowing thingy.

We were getting ready for dinner and grace is doing the usual laughing at huey-ee routine

Huey-ee tak boleh tahan anymore and wanted to kill her already

During dinner, we ate 'chun piah' aka fried spring rolls and other stuff. Then, we went walk walk at the night market there where huey-ee got con when she bought 'horton hears a who' dvd. We all bought a bracelet each except for wee kiat with our chinese name carved on it. Then we went home and watched 'heartbreak kid' till late at night.
